Abigail Leigh Spencer (born August 4th, 1981) is an American actor. The actress Abigail Spencer was an actress from America. She was born on August 4 the 4th of August, 1981. Her current role is Amantha Holden on The Sundance Channel Drama series Rectify. Abigail Leigh Spencer, an American actress and film director who also works on television. She became popular with her role in the drama show Rectify along with the sci-fi show Timeless. Her first appearance on stage was All My Children, a soap opera based out of Gulf Breeze Florida. For her work she was awarded the Soap Opera Digest Award as the most outstanding female newcomer. Her main role was guest roles throughout the span of several years. For instance, in the TV show Hawthorne the actress was widely recognized for her role as her character Dr. Erin Jameson. Her stunning looks coupled with her uncanny acting talent helped to slowly grow an audience. When she was twenty, she made her acting debut in the movie Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War & Chasing Mavericks were some of her films. As part of Beautiful Now, she was nominated for the Madrid International Film Festival Award. On the television program Timeless in which she portrayed the role of Lucy Preston, a history professor. Spencer is nominated to win the Teen Choice Award after her performance in the series was highly praised by the viewers and critics.
